It’s Yours By Right!
Know that you have dominion!
Today’s post is short. I just want to encourage you to push through
life’s trials by faith. We cannot escape them, in fact we are told in
scripture that the afflictions of the righteous will me many but God
will deliver us out of them all (Ps. 34:19). This promise of deliverance
is ours by right. You have dominion over it. It does not dominate you!
If you are in Christ, then all of His dynamic victories are yours.
Christ’s triumph over satan and all of his works became your triumph
(Matt. 28:18; Col. 2:14-15; Heb. 2:14). You can appropriate that victory
by faith and make it manifest in your own life. You make it manifest in
your life by believing every Word of God (Matt. 4:4). Believe God and
let Him do the rest. God’s desire is for you to live (John 10:10).
Choose to live the abundant life today by recognizing that victory is
yours by right.
Happy Mother's Day!
God Bless you,
Sonia Kong

Working In Purpose
One of the very first lessons God began to deal with me about, in my kitchen, is my attitude. He began to put His Word in my face dealing with my attitude and outlook about my identity in Him. This is important, and one of the very first humbling lessons and experiences God seems to use to purify us with. Sometimes we think we know who we are and who God is until He holds up the mirror of His Word to our hearts. In all that I knew, I quickly found out that I didn't know anything. What a humbling experience! I learned that most of what I perceived, knew and understood about myself and about God was blurry. This blurriness was corrupting my vision toward my destiny in God and it was trying to persuade me to draw back in fear (Heb. 10:38). God loves me (you too) so much that He brought (and still is) bringing these issues about my perception and character to the forefront. Some came by way of embarrassment, others through prayer. But I am just thankful that it came.
What is Preachin’ in the Kitchen?
Preachin’ in the Kitchen is a phrase I coined and encourage myself with in the Lord. It is an understanding where I purposely look at my life - with all of the ups and downs, disappointments and victories - as an opportunity for God to minister to me by teaching me and guiding me into all truth... right there where I am (John 16:13). Then afterwards, I have the wonderful opportunity to reciprocate that truth to others (Acts 4:20). What a blessing!
